@ease SmartChlor In-Line Start-up Kit

The FROG @ease 20682 SmartChlor In-Line Start-up Kit is a self-regulating chlorine cartridge designed to work specifically with the FROG @ease Mineral Cartridge to provide a hands-free hot tub sanitizing experience. This system is known for using up to 75% less chlorine than traditional methods, making the water softer and reducing chemical odors and maintenance. 

Key Features & Benefits:

• Self-Regulating Technology: The patented SmartChlor technology automatically maintains a consistently low free chlorine level (0.5 to 1.0 ppm). It builds a chlorine reserve and releases more sanitizer only when demand increases, such as when people enter the spa.
• Reduced Chlorine Usage: When used with the companion mineral cartridge, the system requires up to 75% less chlorine than standard systems (which often require 2.0-4.0 ppm).
• Less Maintenance: This system eliminates the need for daily or weekly chlorine dosing and reduces the need to shock the hot tub to just once a month.
• Improved Water Quality: The lower chemical levels result in water that is softer and gentler on skin, hair, and swimsuits, with no harsh chlorine smell.
• Easy Indicator: For the floating system, the cartridge holder will flip over when the SmartChlor cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced. For in-line systems, specific test strips indicate when the cartridge is depleted.
• Long-Lasting: Each SmartChlor cartridge typically lasts for approximately three to four weeks, depending on the size of the hot tub and usage. 

Usage & Compatibility:

The 20682 SmartChlor Cartridge is a replacement part for either the FROG @ease floating system or the in-line system (for compatible spas up to 600 gallons). 

• In-Line System Compatibility: It is designed to fit built-in in-line feeders on specific hot tub brands and models, including certain models from Artesian Spas, Caldera Spas, Hot Spot Spas, and Marquis Spas.
• Installation: The pre-filled, disposable cartridge simply snaps into the main cartridge holder, which also holds the reusable mineral cartridge.

Note: The system works with its own specific @ease test strips, as standard test strips may not accurately read the unique SmartChlor levels.
